Mindfulness takes on many forms. Some would call it calm and kind attentiveness or being in the present moment or the path of peace. In practice and application, it can be all of these things and so much more. Simple yet profound, it’s descriptions can be vast or somewhat allusive as it only truly revealed in experience. It is innate in all of us. Like a seed, its growth requires nourishment and cultivation and in return we can enjoy it’s bloom, be under its sheltering branches and taste its fruit because in truth we are nourishing and cultivating ourselves.
In Lachlan classes you should expect short explanations that give relevant context to the Satipaṭṭhāna. He will share a variety of techniques that enhance our capacity for mindfulness. We will practice together in short 5-20 minutes sits (often two or three times in a lesson), which will often include guided micro-meditations.
Lachlan hopes hope you can come along and share the practice. Beginners and experienced practitioner are welcome.
