Abigael took her first yoga class in 2001 and was regularly practicing hatha and anusara yoga by 2006. While at university in northern California, she co-founded a yoga club to bring free yoga to the campus. After two years of organizing the club, she obtained her teaching certification in 2010 and went on to teach free classes until graduating in 2012. While completing her PhD here in Tassie, Abigael fell in love with Aerial Yoga and in 2021 studied to become an Aerial instructor.
When she’s not in a hammock, Vinyasa yoga, bush walking, and weightlifting are Abigael’s movements of choice.
Abigael’s aerial classes focus on strength and alignment, building confidence in the hammock, and learning to find wonderful moments of stillness (and/or humour) whenever and wherever possible.
