Young at Heart paves the way for developing an evolving and sustainable practice as we age. The class is designed to provide a practice that will maintain and improve mobility and can benefit all age groups. Based on the four key principles for healthy ageing – strength, flexibility, agility, and balance - the practice is varied and draws on the deeper support of breath, mindfulness and meditation principles.

The Young @ Heart Summer Sessions are for those who would like to look at their practice from a different perspective!!! Suitable for over 55’s or anyone curious about adapting their practice! With the goal of yoga being to calm the mind, the aim of the pose play series is to learn how to adapt our poses to our bodies/minds, rather than forcing our bodies into traditional pose shapes. We will explore how to do this while still gaining the health giving benefits…
